1.What is the funniest thing you remember as a child?
I would like to be Batman because he’s a human who saves lives without any supernatural powers. He uses his intelligence, creativity, and resourcefulness to invent tools to defeat villains. Most of all, I aspire to have Batman’s tenacity and strength because he shows that his greatest weaknesses- his humanity, vulnerability, and moralities are also his greatest strengths.
2.What is the one piece of clothing you wish you owned?
A true friend is an encourager, listener, and a true leader. They are also honest and have my best intentions at heart. It is someone who holds my hand up a mountain, helps when I stumble, and celebrates at the peak. I aim to be the type of person I look for in a friend.
3.What season of the year is your favorite and why?
I have received constructive input from my parents, teachers, coaches, and peers that have helped me improve myself as an individual. I am eager to continue to grow and learn which comes from being receptive to constructive criticism.
4.What is your favorite movie?
I tried a “beyond meat†burger! I am a foodie at heart: cooking, baking, and eating. I love trying new foods especially expanding my cultural knowledge and learning more about nutritional health. I will definitely order the “beyond meat†burger because it’s a yummy plant based alternative that is both good for people and the environment!
5.What song makes you think of yourself?
Crying is sign of strength and vulnerability. It’s a beautiful human expression to show our sorrow or happiness. I have cried so many times laughing with my friends, but I have also cried out of sadness and frustration. There are many times I have wanted to cry and give up with Dare to LEAD, but it’s the tears that remind me to persist for others who cry out of poverty and abuse.
